Lords is proud to announce our appointment by Felix Capital AU to deliver the new IHG Hotels & Resorts ‘Crowne Plaza’, located in Maroochydore Queensland.
This award marks a defining moment for our business – with this project representing our largest contract to date, and the beginning of our expansion into Queensland. It continues the broader interstate diversification strategy we initiated three years ago, and its timing aligns strongly with our 10th year in operation as we enter the next chapter of our growth.
The ‘Crowne Plaza’ Maroochydore Hotel will be a significant addition to the Sunshine Coast. The development comprises 180 hotel rooms, 24 luxury penthouse apartments, multiple restaurants and retail offerings, 900sqm of dedicated function and conference spaces, a 30-metre outdoor pool, spa, and lounge area, wellness retreat and gym, a lobby bar, and a two-level basement. Designed by DBI Architects, the project reflects Felix Capital’s strong and sophisticated vision for a contemporary coastal hotel that elevates the region’s accommodation and lifestyle offering.
