Lords Group has recently completed the design and construction of The Loft, Mays Hill which consists of 45 residential apartments plus a commercial level for developer Civic Properties. The project included a 2 storey basement plus 8 storey construction, including communal roof terraces on Level 4 and 8.
Due to the site location and existing services infrastructure, there were several challenges including boundary to boundary construction, a Sydney Water mains upgrade, council stormwater and pit upgrades, Optus cabling upgrades and extensive civil and road works to provide lead-in cabling infrastructure to the new substation to the building. Despite the above challenges, the Lords Group team worked closely with the developer to carefully coordinate and execute the works to ensure there was no delay to programme and were still able to deliver the project 4 weeks ahead of contract programme.
A true testament to the project team’s performance on this project was the efficiency in managing the PCA’s, strata and council related documentation required to enable the strata plans to be registered, OC to be achieved and enabling the activation of the developer’s purchaser settlements within 14 days from Practical Completion.
Working hard to ensure the developers quality expectations were met, the project team have delivered a high quality project which stands proud in the Parramatta skyline.
